Luxe battery issues

My Luxe battery percentage is not accurate at all.  It is making it extremely hard to judge when it needs charging.  It seems to turn itself off when it reaches around 34%. Then when I plug it in to charge it says 34% and then quickly drops to 7%. Then it rises again and then drops!!!

A charge is lasting 2 days if I am lucky.  I don’t have any notifications on as no desire to use a smart watch. I use it purely as a fitness tracker and that is becoming increasingly difficult as it’s often dead when I want it to track at the gym.

Hello there, @Rlb78. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Luxe.

As a first approach, I'd recommend restarting your Luxe. Then, please test it the next couple of days to see how it behaves.

If the issue persists, please see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Hope that helps.

I have clear user data, restart but it doesn't work, I use fitbit luxe just 1 year 6 month. everything was perfect. till now I have to charge everyday when I track my workout the fitbit lux will be shut down every time. when I charge it show Battery 98 %. I turn off very function to save battery but it's nothing better.

Do you have the battery replacement, I think that the quality for battery is bad.

I have the same issue…. I restarted my Luxe with battery % at 7% and it started charging after restarting, was at 15% after about 20 min of charging and I checked it, now it says 74%?!! But I just fully charged it 2 days ago?!

This is happening to mine, too. It says I have 34% battery, then after 15 minutes, it says 6%. Dies. I place on charger and it lights up immediately saying it is charging and it is at 34%. Spent 1 hour on charger and now is saying it’s at 37%. It seems that all my Fitbit devices only last a year and a couple months. I am thinking about switching to another brand at this point. Good luck!

Same problem I am having. It won't turn on so I put it on the charger says 34% then drops to 7%. Everything is turned off but I'm lucky if I get a day out of it. I took it off the charger and hour ago and it is already at 72%. This happened to my last two Fitbits (not Luxe) as well. About a year and a half in battery issues. Fitbit offers a discount on a new one but Amazon actually had it cheaper. These should not be disposable after 1.5 years. I like this one because of the size but I might need to go to a different brand because Fitbit is rich for a crappy product.
