my Luxe was 90% charged and I plugged it in to charge to 100% but it now has a black screen and will not respond.

Hi, @crashcookatlive , welcome to the community, and try restarting it, this video demonstrates the process.
Let us know how you get on.

I am having the same problem. I did what you suggested but the video tells me to double tap on the Fitbit to wake it up. It appears to be dead after I charged it. It will not wake up. How can I tell if it has just outlived its usefulness.

Hi, @chaos213, did you attempt the restart demonstrated in the second half of the video using the cable connected to a "live" USB socket?
If you suspect your Luxe has a depleted battery you may find this article of interest Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? - Fitbit Help Center .
Let us know how you get on.

Hi. Thank you for responding. Turns out it was a defective (worn out) adaptor on the charger. Now it is charged up and going. And, no, I did not watch the whole video as I was so **ahem** frustrated. As everyone, I have 30 million major things going on in my life that I have nearly depleted my supply of patience. This "minor" issue with FitBit just set me over the edge. Better now!

Hi, @chaos213, I'm pleased you were able to sort your problem out, if you have a problem with the charging cable you can get replacements. Try "Customer Support" first, it should be covered by Fitbit's warranty. Alternatively, look on Amazon.
Cheers
