Luxe shutting down when exercise mode selected

Starting yesterday luxe shuts down/dies when exercise mode selected. I have to put it on the charger to turn back on. No, the battery is not dead when this happens. It also seems to be doubling some stats ie steps, zone mins.

I should've added even though it's obvious I can't use my fitness tracker because it doesn't allow me to select exercise mode and it isn't automatically recognizing excise. Frustrating!

UPDATE I did restart my luxe later yesterday. Then fully charged again today and seems to be working OK again. 

Also...yay i obviously figured out how to add to a post. 

UPDATE 2 Well issue is not resolved! This morning luxe didn't shut down when I choose excise mode but it did when i finished workout and therfore did NOT log the workout! SO frustrating and agitating!!
