My fitbit Luxe is properly recording my steps, but it is not translating over to the app. It says I only had 3 hours today with 250 steps or more (I actually had 10 hours). It's been horrifically off-base in the app this whole week. Tried all the previously recommended fixes to no avail. Seems this issue has been going on with fitbit for close to a decade now, is this seriously not fixed??

I'm assuming this issue still has not been resolved by Fitbit given the lack of response. Perhaps it's time to find a tracker with less issues and better customer support.

Hi, @run_kitten_run, it sounds like you have a syncing issue. You might find these articles of interest How do Fitbit devices sync their data? & Why won't my Fitbit device sync? I apologise if you have already worked through them.
In addition, check the settings in the Fitbit app on your phone. (You do not mention the make or model of your phone - these steps are for an Android phone) In your phone settings>apps>Fitbit>permissions - allow all>Storrage & cache - clear cache>Mobile data & WiFi - ensure background data & unrestricted usage are on and you have enough credit in your cellphone data account>App battery usage - unrestricted. This last setting is needed because some phones treat the Fitbit app as non-essential while we need it to run constantly in the background.
Let us know how you get on.
Cheers
