My Fitbit continues to randomly shut down. In order to restart it I have to plug it in. Upon plugging in, the battery is not dead and comes up from anywhere to 30 to 85% charged. There are no more updates available. Very frustrating. Anyone else have this issue and find a fix?

Hi there, @lovemygolden. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Luxe keeps turning off. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
As our last resort, I'd recommend performing a factory reset on your Luxe. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.
With the above being said, please sync your Luxe and then, proceed with the steps below in the order listed:
You can follow the steps to set up the device after that How do I set up my Fit-bit device?
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Did you manage to fix this problem? Mine keeps doing the same. Very annoying!!

I've been having the same problem for a while now. I'm constantly having to manually enter exercise logs because this thing just turns off at random points. Same as you, I plug it in and it wakes up and says it's like 90% charged! It's happening nearly every day. Did an update a couple days ago, no change!

I did the troubleshoots requested by Fitbit CS and my Luxe watch had improved for about a day, then it started playing up again. I have sent it back, as I live in the UK and there is a two year warranty. I can't have a watch that I am constantly babysitting.
I think this is a ploy to get people to buy Google's Pixel watches. Fitbit is on the decline. Apparently the Charge Fitbits are having the same issues too. Sorry my reply isn't more positive!

Mine has been doing the same, too. I started noticing problems when I switched to a Google account, but now my Fitbit barely stays on long enough to record any data. only wakes up when i plug it in and have done many factory resets. Is this just a sign it is no longer working?? I have such a tiny wrist and love my Fitbit Luxe with the gold bracelet, and there just doesn't seem to be anything similar to replace it with! I'm reluctant to just buy a new luxe though...

I am so sorry to hear you are having the same problems Anna.
I gave up today, but luckily I could send mine back, as it's within the two year warranty (UK) and I bought it from Amazon, who are willing to give me a full refund.
I too, have a Google account and very much like you, the Luxe watch appealed to me, as I have very small wrists. I had only recently bought a nice black leather strap to wear with it. I'm certainly going to struggle to find another that fits nicely, that overall has pretty good reviews and is in my price bracket.
It is such a shame as I enjoyed using the app and it's helpful features.
If you have the time, look at a previous, recent post about the 'Firmware Update', as there are a multitude of people with exactly the same issues.
In a way it was reassuring it wasn't just my bad luck and not just some random fault, but disheartening that no updates of Firmware have been produced to correct this problem/s.
I hope this can be rectified, or that you are still within your warranty to return yours too. I'm certainly not going to rush into buying another smart watch, until I have exhausted all the pros and cons of each and every smart watch on the market, so to speak. Meantime I will wear my dress watch.
I wish you the best of luck 😊 x
