Luxe not properly tracking sleep

I’ve been wearing the luxe to bed each night for the past two weeks. Multiple nights (about 4 so far), it hasn’t tracked my sleep either at all or it records just 1-2 hours of sleep and stops tracking around 2am even though I’m sleeping through the night until morning.

I’ve tried restarting the device, and making sure it’s clean, but it still happens randomly.

Okay I found the solution to the sleep tracking problem. After 3 days in a row of no/poor tracking I tried this and it’s worked for the past 2 nights.

My new Luxe is counting steps as I sleep, very strange.  I don't know how to stop it.  My first night it added almost 3000 steps. Does anyone know how I  can I stop that?

My Luxe is doing the same thing. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting and no change. It also only sporadically notifies me of calls and/or text messages even though I have verified my settings. Very disappointed!!!

Same! I have to keep restarting it to get it to notify me of texts/calls.

I wear my Luxe 24/7. it tracks my heart rate all day correctly. It does not track my heat rate at night.

I am having the same problem, and I purchase my Fitbit Luxe primarily TO track my sleep patterns. When I first started using it, on 6/23, it worked fine. But since 7/7, it has not tracked my sleep all on 7 days, and returned wildly inaccurate readings twice (43 minutes and 1.5 hours).

I tried all sorts of things to troubleshoot this myself - re-synching, cleaning the sensors, wearing it in different positions (higher on wrist, on inside of wrist), changing sleep sensitivity settings, turning it off & on, restarting my phone, removing the app & re-installing it, turning off bluetooth and restarting it, re-pairing, and even doing a factory reset (which never actually deleted any data though, so not sure it was even successful) - but nothing has worked.

It is tracking steps and heart rate fine. Battery is always good - I never let it get below 60% - and I charge my iPhone all night, every night.

I contacted support via chat yesterday, but the person on the other end said he couldn't help me and was going to transfer it to higher up support, who would contact me via email - but not one has yet.

Feeling really frustrated.

Last night I cleaned my luxe with a mist of alcohol and micro cloth as I went to bed. It tracked my sleep. I will do this again tonight and hope to get the same results.

My problem of my Luxe not reading my heart rate at night continues despite the new firm wear update received just yesterday 7/23. My heart rate has been read 3 times since receiving my Luxe on 7/03.

It successfully tracked my sleep for the past week and I thought it was finally working properly, but then last night I slept really well and it didn’t track it at all!!! 😞

No response from Fitbit on this??
