I woke up this morning to the shock of completing 64,000 steps in my sleep. I did search the forum and there were instances of a Lil sleep counting. But 64k? Is this a Luxe problem or is it a dream I was at a dropkick Murphys show in the pit. Curious

If this is the first time you experience this situation, please restart your Tracker by following these instructions.
You can negate the extra data by manually logging a driving activity. For instructions, please visit this article and open the menu "How do I delete steps and floors in the Fitbit app?".

OK I tried the turn it off and back on and it made it about a week or so before waking up to 78,000 steps on like a Saturday morning. Is this a hardware issue or a software issue? Do I need to get with the company and replace the unit?

Whether you place your Luxe on a nightstand at night please check if there is any electrical appliance issuing vibrations nearby. Your tracker might record those vibrations as steps. In this case I would recommend putting your Tracker in a different place and see if the issue gets resolved.
