Luxe screen and battery issues

My Fitbit was completely out of charge so I plugged it in. Now the screen won’t come on at all.

I can see in the app it’s charged and it’s doing everything it should like steps etc but the actual screen is blank.

it’s also not holding its charge. In 12 hours it went from 82% to 13%
Its only 8 months old

Hello there, @Chelbel81. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and sharing the details about the issues with your Luxe. 

As a first approach, please restart your Luxe as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

I just got my Luxe and set it up yesterday.  I did the update first and charged it overnight.  And it is already drained.

I had the same problem after only 4 months.

At first mine showed all the data on the app even though the Luxe screen was black or simply had a red stripe.  But ultimately it also failed to update the app. 

 

Following advice, I tried to change the watchface but this made no difference.

I also restarted the device repeatedly - at first on the fitbit when I could still see the odd word, and also on the charger when I had no display left at all.  No amount of resetting or restarting made any difference.

Like me, you will only be entitled to 50% refund or a replacement, but when I received mine it was 'refurbished'.  Even though I had a two year guarantee.

I hope you have more luck than me and the restarting works.
