I had my Luxe set so that when I tapped the face the watch came on. Now that doesn't work.
I either have to keep it on "Auto On" which drains the battery, or I have to keep recharging it multiple times a day to "wake" it up, even though it says it's fully charged.
It seems maybe this is a known issue and it looks like they are phasing out the Luxe due to these problems? I know the inspire is close in features, but to be honest, I don't like the look of it. To me it looks cheap. I love that the Luxe looks dressy enough that I'm not embarrassed to wear it out and to work. And the "Charge" is too big for my tiny wrist.
Come on Fitbit, you can do better. I thought I'd finally found "my tracker". If my wrist wasn't so small I've be buying an Apple Watch. At least they're reliable.

Hi there, @macdebbie. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen wake feature has stopped working. I understand your concern and why you want to keep wearing your Luxe instead of any other Fitbit device, I will do my best to help you with this!
Have you checked if the settings were modified? If you haven't done so yet, please on the clock screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to access quick settings > tap Screen Wake
If the issue persists after checking the above, please try restarting your Luxe. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Thank you. My Luxe is set to "Screen Wake - Auto" which does drain the battery, but at least it works - about half the time. The other half of the time it just goes black although it's almost fully charged and the only way to "wake it up" is to plug it in for a short time. When it is set to "Screen Wake - manual" there's no waking it up no matter how hard I tap, so again, it has to be "jumpstarted" by plugging it in.
I have tried restarting it - twice - and that has not solved the problem.
This appears to be a common problem with the Luxe from reading this forum. I wish FitBit would take it seriously, as this was not a cheap device, and neither is the Charge, which makes me very apprehensive about buying another Fitbit product.
Are you discontinuing the Luxe? Only the top of the line Luxe "Special Edition" is listed on your website. At that price it's a no-brainer just to buy an Apple Watch.
