Luxe stopped working after the update

2 days ago mine went wonky somewhere during the day and was about 30 minutes behind the correct time. I read to charge/sync my Luxe and all would be well. I was charging it today and remembered I needed to do that...went to sync, fine. Stated there was an update, fine. Installed, fine. Then "can't find fitbit, is it on?" and it will not come on. Completely black. Hour later still the same.

Hi, @MelArrGer , have you charged your Luxe since installing the update?  Installing an update can take a lot of power, so it may have killed the battery.  I would suggest giving it a couple of hours charge using a wall plug and socket known to be working.  Keep charging for two hours even if it still seems unresponsive.

When it has had two hours charge, if the screen is still blank and the Luxe still unresponsive try the hard reset - while your Luxe is still plugged in and charging, press the button on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times, pausing for one second between each press, then wait approximately 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.  If you don’t see the logo it is worth repeating the procedure a couple more times before giving up - it can be tricky to get the rhythm of press - pause - press - pause - press just right.

If you still cannot revive your Luxe after charging and trying the reset a few times then please get in touch with Fitbit Customer Support.  Please let them know the trouble shooting steps you have already tried, as that will save time.  You can see all the ways of getting in touch with Support on Contact.Fitbit.com .

Good luck and let us know how it goes.  Welcome to the Forums!
