Hi, every time my alarms go off, it takes around 10 taps for the Fitbit to read my touch—it just doesn’t respond well. It’s been going on for a while—it’s not on dnd or water lock or anything

I find the Luxe more difficult to tap through than any other Fitbit I have worn. I frequently end up starting a timer for no reason at all, and then can't get it to stop. I find this very annoying, and it will make me think twice about getting another Fitbit as a fitness tracker when it is time to replace this one. I am tempted sometimes to dump this one now for something less clunky to use, but I do like the aesthetics of this one.

This is very annoying when trying to switch of an alarm that constantly keeps going

I had the same problem with the FitBit Luxe I bought in January, I stupidly threw away the packaging because I had a couple of FitBits in the past and had no issues with them. Anyway, after dealing with this for 6 weeks, I contacted FitBit--mine was still under warranty. They had me restart the device a couple of times, and it did the same thing: taking 8-10 taps to get it to turn on, difficulty swiping, sometimes turning off as soon as I turn it on; etc. They sent me a return authorization. It took 28 days for them to receive it (talk about SNAIL mail). As soon as they received mine, they sent out a replacement that day, which I had the next day. The new one actually works fine. I have a very lengthy post somewhere on this message board about how terrible the device is and how unsatisfactory my experience with customer service and FitBit in general have been as a result of buying the Luxe. I, too, like the aesthetics. Don't care for the watch face selection (some of those are just weird). But, I do like the more streamline device. And I don't use it to receive texts or messages, as I always have my phone, so why would I? Anyway, if yours is still under warranty I encourage you to reach out to them and have them replace it. Plan on a long wait. But, I have had the new one for 5 days now and it works exactly as I expected.
Cheers.

I have the exact same issue. I have been using Fitbit devices for the past 9 years and the Luxe is by far the most cumbersome to use. Settings change on their own, the screen is unresponsive, the timer doesn't go off when set... DND is not on, or randomly turns on. I've contacted Support three times regarding the issue and their stance is that I'm having a user issue. And this is not the case. I'm EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED and if I cannot set notifications easy enough, as with before the Luxe, I may have to choose a different company to provide the basic services that I am seeking with tracking my overall fitness.

Hi Cat it’s so frustrating to try to set this beautiful watch up because that’s what it is nothing else but a pain worn on the wrist
you can’t say it’s smart cos I think it’s dumb because it’s not user friendly AT ALL
try going for a walk
and setting it up whilst starting the walk no chance the face is tooo small even smaller than the face of it and if you are a eye glass wearer you haven’t got any chance to set it up without them
it’s a watch and that’s all you can say about it
I’ve had mine since 23/3 22 and it’s been useless to use as a alarm cos it takes ages to switch off or to set up for a walk
worse one I’ve ever hard and I’ve had 7 Fitbit’s !
