Hi @judithstorm - Sorry you’re having problems with this. You can follow the link at the bottom of the page titled Returns and Warranty. Scroll down to How to Obtain Warranty Service. That paragraph offers instructions on how to get a return authorization. You can also contact Fitbit Support. I hope this helps.

It also depends on where you purchased the device. If it was through a 3rd party retailer, then you need to abide by their return policies.
