After a long time off with illness I've started using my watch to track exercise again. However, the watch now shuts down completely almost every time I want to track any workout, including walks, weightlifting, and circuits. The only exercise my watch seems to enjoy is yoga. There is no consistency on how many minutes into the workout it shuts down, but it tends to be early on (within 10 minutes of starting). I checked some help articles already and changed my clock face, but it hasn't worked. Nothing wakes the watch back up until I put it back on charge. Please help, this watch is basically useless for me if it can't track exercises.

Hi @nhyt. Welcome back to the community.
Thank you for letting me know the information regarding this difficulty that you are experiencing with your Luxe and for the attempts that you already tried to fix it on your own.
Please confirm that you have followed the steps listed in this help article: Extend your Fitbit device's battery life.

Hi @ManuFitbit , thanks for your reply. Sorry if my post was confusing, I have been using my watch daily this entire time, I just haven't been using it to track workouts. So I'm not quite sure how the "extend your fitbit device's battery life" tips are relevant here.
Regardless, I can confirm that my battery level is typically >50% (I charge every day), "always on" is off, my phone is updated, notifications are turned off on the watch, and I do not have an animated clock face.
Thank you.

I hv the same issue. since I was given the Luxe as part of a health research project, it has never completed tracking a full exercise. several times, after a 5km+ walk, it registered only 1+km n only 1500 or so steps! GPS tracking is OFF for all exercise options yet fr 100% in the morning (I charge it daily every morning cos it never lasts the night), it drains down to 50% by early evening, sometimes sooner! Fitbit devices r getting fr Bad to Worse!

Oh yes, this is now my 3rd Fitbit Luxe in less than 2 years. The first one was totally unusable, the battery had no idea what percent charge it was at any time, it would jump from 20 to 100 to 50. I thought the first replacement would do it, but nope, the new one has just arrived in the mail today.

The alarm that I have set seems to trigger my Luxe to shut down. I have to plug it in, then sync it to restore power and correct time. Then in the middle of a 2-3 mile walk, sometimes it shuts down again (steps after that are not recorded). I have had this tracker for more than 2 years and have never had a problem until the first part of March. My suspicion is that there has been an update that is causing this or it is intentional to get us to buy newer products. I am starting to shop Apple.

Oh gosh, that's horrible. Surely its better to get a new one and provide complete data than to have the broken watch?
