Luxe won't connect my iPhone anymore

I have had trouble recently not receiving phone notifications, and I think the problem is it keeps disconnecting from Bluetooth. Anyone else have this issue? This morning I can’t get it to connect to Bluetooth at all. I have restarted my phone and turned Bluetooth off and on - still no luck. Not sure if it’s a phone problem or Luxe problem, but I tend to think Luxe because I can connect to other Bluetooth devices no problem.

Hello there, @Susmitch. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I appreciate you've taken the time to troubleshoot the issue with your Luxe before reaching out. I'll do my best to help you with this!

In addition to the steps you've done, please try the following:

  • Unpair your Luxe from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Luxe.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Luxe.
  • Set up notifications again.
  • Once your Luxe is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Luxe first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Also, why should I pay another company "Answer"  when the problem lies with fitbit

Hi there, @kikitoto. Thanks for stopping by. I understand where you're coming from. I appreciate your feedback and bringing this to our attention.

I feel you when it comes to try all the steps I recommended above, however, doing those steps should help in the long term. I've encountered similar issues when I update my computer or my TV apps, it's not just with the Fitbit app. Nevertheless, I really understand how you must be feeling as this just started happening overnight.

Please feel free to try the steps I recommended and let me know if the issue persists in the next couple of days.

Fitbit was working after following the directions.
Then it's 5:45 and it's not connected to bluetooth anymore.

Same issue all day, have reset multiple times. Bluetooth connection lost multiple times per day. Today will not connect

Thank you for the tips. I did eventually get it to connect, but it repeatedly becomes disconnected. I am not going to do that huge list of steps multiple times a day, especially deleting every other Bluetooth device from my phone. That is not sustainable. It also makes the Fitbit completely useless for phone notifications because I never know if it’s connected or not. I’ve gone hours with no notifications only to find I have missed calls and messages that my Fitbit missed because it disconnected itself again.
I’m sorry others are also having issues, but at least now I know it is a Fitbit issue.
