Luxe won't show the correct language

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just purchased the Luxe a few days ago. I live in Belgium so my app language is in Dutch but my device language is in English. How do I also get my device in Dutch? When I click on my profile in the app, I don't have a menu 'Advanced Settings'.

Update: Is it correct to assume that Dutch for Belgium doesn't exist yet as a language?

Hi there, @Lies88. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with the language. Please note you can definitely set your Luxe in Dutch language.

To address this issue accordingly, please note that the Fitbit app shows follow the language that is set on the phone itself. Is your phone currently on Dutch or is it set to English? If it is on English please try to change the phone to Dutch. If it is on Dutch already, please try to change it to English, restarting your phone and then back to Dutch.

As for your inquiry about the "Advanced Settings", please try going to your Fitbit app > Tap on your profile picture at the top left > Scroll down to App Settings instead.

For more information, see How do I change my language on Fitbit?

Hope this helps.

Hello

Thanks for your answer. The device language is currently set in English. In the app settings, the country selected is Belgium (automatically) but it says: 'België/Belgique/Belgien (English)'. Which led me to assume that Dutch (or Nederlands) for Belgium is not an option - see screenshot.

I don't have any other settings where I could change the language to Dutch, except when I change the country to 'Nederland' (The Netherlands) where they also speak Dutch.

@Lies88 Thanks for the screenshot attached.

Is your phone currently on Dutch or is it set to English? Keep in mind that changing the language on your phone changes the language in the Fitbit app. For more information, see How do I change my language on Fitbit?. If it is on Dutch already, please try to change it to English, restarting your phone and then back to Dutch.

Hope that helps.

My phone, just as my app, is completely set in Dutch.
