Luxe won't sync anymore

I got a notification that I needed to switch everything over to my Google account and now my Luxe isn’t syncing at all. Is anyone else having this problem? I woke up this morning and the last time it synced was last night. I am not sure what to do as it shows the device as connected and the “contact support” link isn’t working either.

I have been without my Fitbit Luxe syncing for over a week now!  I have contacted Fitbit and my wellness account (Virgin Pulse) at work so many times my head is spinning.  I have followed everyone's instructions and nothing is working correctly with the syncing issue!  I am beyond upset at this point!

I am so frustrated with the syncing issues I’ve had with my Fitbit since Google took over. What good is having a tracker if it won’t sync to the app to see how you are doing. And Google doesn’t care!!!!

I agree! I am frustrated & so discouraged too!

I'm having the same problem. It did log the distance of my walk this morning but not the path on the map as it did before I switched to Google. It doesn't sync and show a sleep or readiness score. If this continues, I'm cancelling my premium membership.

This whole Google requirement with using Fitbit has become a joke! The
amount of problems it has caused is over the moon! I wouldn't blame you if
you decided to cancel!

If you have two Google accts like I did, that is what caused my syncing
problem. Once I deleted the one I no longer used & went to register my
Google email I wanted, then my Fitbit started syncing. I hope this info
helps you to do the discovery into what email you have registered with
Google.

Thank you for your response. It is syncing now. Took a few days but
whatever was wrong appears to have been fixed.

Fitbit Luxe not syncing with Android phone since changing to Google login. Have tried everything suggested by Fitbit and other replies to people having the same issues. Switching off Wifi worked for some people - not me Logging out of Fitbit App and back in - didn't work for me. Only use one Google account.

Tried to revert to logging in with my Fitbit details but it told me I had to use Google now that I have changed. Using same Galaxy phone with same details in same house. Everything else is syncing with my Bluetooth as usual so that is not at fault. So what now? Please!!!

Has anyone tried disconnecting and then reconnecting the Luxe to see if helps with the syncing issue?

I tried doing this on several occasions & it did NOT work for me. I found
that I had two Google accounts which was creating my problem. I deleted
the one I no longer wanted which got my syncing problem resolved.

I have pretty much had it with this issue. Since switching to Google account I have to manually force sync and even after several attempts the sync process halfway and then stop. I’ve tried all the suggested fixes - closing the iOS app, signing out and back in, forgetting the device on Bluetooth, etc. My luxe is worthless if I can’t record data to my account. I’ve been a Fitbit user for pre than 20 years but this is about the last straw.

That is very helpful info. I do have two Google accounts but need them both on my phone- one is work and one is personal. And with 2 factor authentication- you have to have both on your phone. So deleting one is not an option. If that is indeed the issue then Google should have tested with that scenario.

My Samsung Galaxy phone notified me that I needed to install an update and since doing so my Fitbit Luxe is now syncing😊 Check if there is an update, or wait until you are notified of one - perhaps Google is now aware of the issues and getting round to fixing them with updates.  The screen looks different showing heart rate first but when I scroll down I can see step count etc.

I did do the update. What I found was my problem was that I had two Google
accts. After I deleted one, the syncing came back. Google just needs to
take action right away to make things right when they say a how many people
were having problems. Hopefully all is good going forward now!

Mine stopped syncing overnight on Friday.  Are we all to be forced into getting Google accounts now?  I don’t have one & don’t want one.  If this is the plan then I’m done with Fitbit.
