Luxe won't sync or pair

When I charged my Luxe yesterday, it flipped out. The time was behind exactly 5 hours. I tried various things to get it fixed: restarted my phone, turned off and on bluetooth, uninstalled and reinstalled fitbit. Now it will not sync or pair either, and the time is still off. Any ideas? I've had the Luxe and phone, a while.

Hi there, @koikeeper. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Luxe is still not syncing or pairing. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As a first approach, I'd recommend checking if your mobile device meets the requirements to properly operate with your Fitbit device. For more information, see Fitbit Compatible Devices.

In addition to the steps you've done, I'd recommend trying the following steps in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Luxe from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Luxe.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Luxe.
  • Once your Luxe is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Luxe first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone. Once you manage to sync your Luxe, the time should be corrected as your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with.
