Luxe won't sync or update

I've just noticed today that my Fitbit app has had no data since 10 September. It says it was synced two days ago yet no data is shown for a week. I've tried synching it but it wouldn't sync again. Also it says there is an update available but it wouldn't update itself and I also can't update it manually as there is no option to start the update.

Any advice?

Hi there, @Ildior. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Luxe is still not syncing. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As a first approach, I'd recommend checking if your mobile device meets the requirements to properly operate with your Fitbit device. For more information, see Fitbit Compatible Devices.

Thank you for that. I restarted my phone and it seems to have sorted out both the sync and update issue.😊

I'm having the same issue.  everything was fine until Sept. 9th.  First the Peloton info stopped synching for no reason and a few days later the app wouldn't sync at all.  And I can't get the software update to work.

My synchbissue has happenned again. Today I noticed that it hasn't updated for 6 days, plus the Fitbit has been unresponsive and not tracking anything all day and the battery just melted away from 80% something to 24% while I've been trying to fix its issue.

After trying the force restart via the charging cable, it has started to respond and track again. Then I restarted my phone as suggested last time and it's finally synched the last 6 days except today as it has nothing to synch since it's not been tracking all day. And this activity drained the battery from 80%+ to 24%.

If I'm honest I'm really unhappy with how the fitbit has been behaving this past month. It's more nuisance than useful. It's only a year and half old with just normal everyday wear, no extra excercise tracking etc, so I was not expecting it to give up this quickly. 

Can you suggest what I can do with it before it goes in the bin?

PS: I'm not the kind of user that keeps restarting their phone for their fitbit (plus i dindt have to do this before these issues started to occur), or who checks in on the fitbit app daily to see how it's going but I do check in once a week or so to see my health metrics etc so having to then first do a troubleshooting excercise is less than ideal.
