My Fitbit Luxe won't sync and the time is off by 5 hours. I have tried restarting it several times but the time on the watch is still 5 hours ahead of real time, other functions such as counting steps are working as usual. I have also tried restarting my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S9+.

I was having the same problem for several days. I tried all the steps from help re: "my luxe won't sync"but nothing worked.
Then I removed my tracker device (Luxe) from my fitbit app, added it back in (while charging at the same time) and then it worked

I was having exactly the same problem (my Luxe wouldn't sync, and it was 5 hours ahead of local time). I tried everything described by other people above, and finally I saw your comment. Thank you very much for it, because I did what you described, and now my Fitbit is syncing and the time is correct again.
