Luxe won't turn on or charge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've been using my Fitbit Luxe for about a year now and it has been working smoothly. However, I recently encountered an issue that I need help with. One day, my Luxe suddenly turned off even though it had around 60% battery remaining. When I connected it to the charger, I noticed that it displayed a charge percentage of 82%. I've attempted various troubleshooting steps such as restarting and resetting the device, but unfortunately, the problem persists.

Has anyone else experienced a similar situation or does anyone have insights into what might be causing this issue? I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to resolve this. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi there, @Akshtsng. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Luxe before reaching out.

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Luxe as described here

If the restart doesn't work and your Luxe doesn't vibrate during the restart process, please follow the steps below:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again.

I’ve trued almost everything but nothing works.

I’ll tell you about one of the scenarios of today when my luxe was 61% charged and it got suddenly switched off and when i put it on the charge again it was showing 78% charge. This is happening on a per day basis now. Don’t know what the problem seems to be.

I’m having similar issues over the last week or two as well. I will raise wrist and Luxe does not wake up. I’ll tap it and it still does not respond. So I think battery died, even though it was newly charged. Put it on charger and it’s at a medium level of battery. I restart it anyhow using button on charger. It will work for about an hour and then stop responding again. Repeat process. Same things occur. There is definitely a bug that needs a resolution.

And yes, I’ve gone through all the troubleshooting I can. Cleaned nodes, reset from device, checked settings for “raise to wake”, reset from charger, etc. It will not stay connected to Bluetooth or iOS app.

Yeah it’s the same problem I and I think others also are having as they’ve also posted about the same. I don’t know if the issue is with the device now or is it the software

Today I plugged my Luxe to recharge (said it was at 25%) - two hours later it was completely dead. Purchased it just last Friday.

I am having the same issue in the last couple of days it will not wake up on motion.  And now is fully charged but will not turn on

Same thing happened to me the last 2 times I charged my Fitbit. Both times it had about 25% charge when I started to charge it. When I took it off the charger it was dead and it won’t turn on. I cleaned the device as recommended and used another charger. It was at 2% when I put on charger. It charged and was fine. I charged it today and it’s dead again. I was thinking my charger might be broken. I don’t have another charger with me to test the theory again. I didn’t know there was a software update.

Hallo.
