I’ve done all the recommended things, turning Bluetooth on/off, restarting the luxe, restarting my phone, having my phone and luxe touching during the update, unpairing the pairing, letting the battery die all the way, charging both devices all the way and during.. literally everything it’s still not working.. what do I do, and please don’t suggest any variations of the above because I’ve done it..

If you've but to no avail, I'd recommend performing a factory reset on your Luxe. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account, your applications, alarms, etc.
With the above being said, to proceed with the factory reset please do the following:
