Every time I manually enter an activity it disappears right away. I thought it had to do with an old fitbit as I had the Charge 2 since 2017. I bought the Luxe and it arrived today, but no change. Manually added activities do not save for me. i logged out and deleted the app then restarted my phone, but there has been no change.
I've had the same problem for a while. I guess the Fitbit overwrites the app? Very frustrating, since the Fitbit doesn't always capture an activity correctly, or sometimes runs out of battery partway through a very long hike.
