I have small wrists so the big faced gadgets just look stupid and bulky on me, even the small ones don’t sit right but look a little better. I bought a Charge HR years ago and loved it. Small and did everything I wanted at the time to track, even if the face was only a one line display! After a lot of wear and tear the strap disintegrated and fell apart and I lost interest so stopped wearing and stopped tracking.
My health has declined a tad recently and so thought I'd invest in a newer model. The only options were the Luxe, Inspire and Charge models. I did do a bit of research and ended up opting for the Luxe, basically as I didn't like the look or colours of the others and they all do pretty much the same thing...right?
It arrived and I excitedly opened the box, charged it – loving the new way to charge! Put it on and started obsessing as you do. Checking every few minutes, how many calories burned, how many steps etc. Then discovered it wasn't counting the floors/stairs I was doing. I did a bit of investigating and discovered this option is no longer available on the newer, smaller trackers. I am bitterly disappointed. How can Fitbit have taken this part of the config out? Surly counting floors is a good thing to keep people motivated to beat their PBs, getting that "extra" exertion and heart rate up? Not to mention, keeping track of how many times you have forgotten something and have to go back upstairs or downstairs to get it! What? We all go around on flat terrain now?
I would ask, Fitbit, when you do your next gen trackers....add this feature back in, I think it would make a huge Fitbit community very VERY happy! IMHO

Hi, @MissP32 , the best place to make this suggestion would be in the Product Feedback Forum where you can suggest features you would like to see on your Fitbit and where others can vote for, and comment on, your suggestion. The Moderators carefully monitor this forum and let the developers know the most popular suggestions. The more votes the more likely a suggestion is to be implemented.
Tip: always do a search first to check whether there is already a similar suggestion so that the forum can stay organised and the vote isn’t split.
PS: I also fell in love with Fitbit with the Charge HR! I hope that even without the floor metric you will enjoy the Luxe otherwise.
