Looking for a place to rant a little and I've been a fitbit user since somewhere around 2008 when I bought their first version of a pedometer that will help me track my runs. It was simple it was great, I upgraded to their watch when they integrated GPS, replacing my very bulky Garmin watch. Everything was great customer service would answer your questions if you couldn't figure it out. I migrated my account Google not too long ago and tried to purchase a small Fitbit band for my daughter, nothing but problems. I bought the basic Inspire 3....quickly figured out how much google must be harvesting from our data because a minor is not allowed to have this product. No problem, synced to my account for a few minutes so it would at least tell time and then re-added my watch forcing the Inspire to be not connected and we were good. She just looks at her stats on the watch. Less than 30 days it died. She depleted the battery entirely, not the first time in the 30-day period however this time when we charged it it wouldn't turn back on. After a few days, I finally got online for about 20 minutes research ended up calling the Fitbit / Google Help Desk. 35 minutes on hold from the get-go, not so bad I suppose... the gentleman was nice enough but it was very obvious that English was his second or third language because he didn't understand half of what I was saying. I was looking for a replacement under the one-year limited warranty, but after 25 minutes of him putting them hold a few times so let it charge he told me that he could not complete that transaction I'd have to be transferred to supervisor he estimated a 5 minutes. After being on hold for 8 minutes, and a total of an hour on the phone.... I got on Amazon while I was holding and now I'm no longer a fitbit customer. I hung up with no resolution. I'm going to buy a different Smartwatch for my daughter, and I'll start shopping for something to replace my versa with. I no longer feel confident that Google is protecting my data especially since they're measuring my health stats. This was very highlighted when I tried to connect a generic basic device to an account of the minor in Google and was not allowed to because of all of the data they export and privacy concerns. I used to recommend Fitbit to my friends when they were looking for something to help them track runs or monitor Fitness but no more. Goodbye Fitbit
