Not happy with the new sleep graph

App sleep display of the new look is hard to read and hard to look at. The white background with all the crazy dotted lines is awful. I want to read my sleep score and understand what I'm looking at with the REM, light sleep etc. I prefer the old look. I don't even look at the sleep part anymore because of this. Please please change the display or go back to the old look. Thank you

I fully agree, I don’t love my Fitbit anymore.

Agree, it's so weird to look at - the graphic feels useless now.

Agreed. Not having a delete option when sleep gets split into 2 or 3 segments makes it a real PITA to come close to merging them.  My wife has at least 2 segments with 1-2 hour gaps between at least 4 times a week.  Only way to "fix" is adjust one to 10 minutes, then the other to close to wake up time.  This seems to correct the sleep number, but this is 2024, a simple merge option would fix it (even if the "gap" was awake time).

Buenas! Can u help me understand what you're describing here better? Because I have these same issues and it was alot easier to correct before they updated to this horrible sleep graph. I understand the part you said to adjust one to 10 minutes but then I get confused. Also, what do you do to merge when there are 3 sleep sessions? Appreciate the help either way! Namaste

I've had 3.  Keep the longest one, reduce the time of the earliest one (and/or latest one) to 10 minutes.  You just can't overlap times.  Say you move one 10 minute segment to yesterday at 10 pm, and the other to today at 9 am.  Then you can edit the main one from yesterday at 10:15 pm to today at 8:30 am.  It takes a couple tries to figure out what works, since sometimes there's another segment from yesterday that conflicts.  The app seems to ignore 10 minute segments.

Would be such a simple software fix!

Unfortunately I have to agree. I’ve tried to give it a chance and thought that with time I would be able read it easier but it has not.  My mom and my husband who are also Fitbit users do not like it either. I really wish Fitbit would reconsider that design change.

Couldn't have said it better.
Many in my world are Fitbit users as well and would have to agree with
disliking these features and very much so hope that Fitbit reconsiders on
going back to the old features.

I agree - the new look for the sleep display is awful, jarring and messy to look at. I used to look at it everyday for useful info, now I skip to look at the benchmarking a couple of times a week

It’s very disappointing that Fitbit/Google are so uninterested in the user experience. I used to love my Fitbit (I’ve had a Charge, Versa, Sense 1 & 2 and currently using Luxe) but when this one dies I’m switching to Apple or Garmin. I’ve already cancelled my subscription as the info is so much poorer and I really don’t need coaching videos etc

1000% agree. I'm so over fitbit anymore. Sleep is horrible to read, I hate that it's connected to an email I never use and can't change it. They sold out like every other company. It's erasing my steps when I refresh it. I'm done!

Now ALL detail is gone!  No deep sleep, REM, light, etc. anymore.  Now it’s just Asleep. The sleep detail was one of the primary reasons I went with Fitbit to start with. What is wrong with these people?  The old look was the best, but I’d even take those squirrelly graphs now. I agree with the others - maybe it’s time to move on to some other product.

How is this "no detail"?  Shows minutes of each category and time it happened.

Sorry, tcat007 (great name!)  When I posted that, I had been getting no detail for a week or so, just a straight line that said "asleep."  Last night I received an app update on my iPad and now that squirrely graph is back.  Not the original graph that I really liked, but at least I'm getting detail again.  So I guess my comment now is "never mind!"
