I went onto the web settings to change my clock to a 24 hour clock (it seems weird you can't change this in the app) but it won't save and flags that "An error occurred while saving your profile"

Hello @polarbrod and welcome to the Community.  You can change this on the app.  Please tap on your profile avatar > swipe up to App Settings > Clock Display Time.  Change it to 24 hour.
