Can 10 lbs be achieved in 1 week?

maybe... BUT I don't think it's generaly healthy. As I understand it, anything more than 2lb/week involved starving oneself and that can cause real damage to your body if it's done for any amount of time.

First week of a diet - sure.
IF, IF - you had terrible sodium eating levels prior and you back off big time.
That will drop a lot of water weight merely eating better.
And you were decently active using the muscles you got.
That will drop some glycogen stores with attached water, making the muscles look smaller.
And you might drop 2 lbs of fat if you really have a 1000 cal deficit daily to what you burn compared to what you eat.
Sadly, eating normal again will cause fast water weight gain with glycogen stores going back up, and if diets gets bad with sodium, that's back again too.
But if you don't go above maintenance, 2lbs is gone at least.
2nd week, 2 lbs, unless you got 200 or more to lose, then perhaps 3-4 lbs weely for first month might be realistic, then you better back off the deficit, or you'll likely find yourself only losing 2 lbs weekly when the numbers say it should be the same 3-4 lbs.

The first day you may drop some extra weight if you're in control. For me, it was removing the excess I ate from the restaurants for two days. The high sodium they put in foods is bad for your water weight.
Retaining that loss and keeping on going is the next hard part. But if you want to shred more, you need to hit the gym twice a day and burn lots of calories and water weight. You should get a heart rate monitor from Polar and set it up for your age and fat burn to help burn down that extra fat. The longer you're on the treadmill the better it is.
My schedule is normally 3:30 AM to 6:00 AM - 45 minute active minutes, 45-60 minute isolated muscle exercises. Then 6 PM to 7 PM - 45 minute active minutes cardio.
But be sure to meet all your goals including the Calories Burned goal and Calories Consumed goal. The calories burned is very helpful in losing weight. But controlling your eating habits in Calories Consumed is the most hardest of them all.

Have you tried detoxing? That's the nice way to ask, but what I'm trying to say is clear out your colon. NOT WITH A LAXATIVE ! Veggies and fruit. Unsalted flower seeds or pumkin seeds. I take a day and juice some of my veggies. Plus eat lots of raw fruit and veggies. Get rid of all the toxins and waste from your colon. If you're interested I'll send you the detox plan.
