Hi all -
Does anyone feel up to a 30 day weight loss challenge?
I've only just gotten my FitBit a couple of months ago and although I'm now addicted to it, I'm struggling with weightloss.
I'm in my mid-40s so that may be one of the factors, as I try to eat properly during the week and treat myself on the weekends. No bingeing though.
In any case, anyone fancy helping each other along?
I've got to the 23rd May to lose weight before a big family event. Tick, tock, tick, tock!
Although I don't actually know how to do link up with people to join the challenge.
Thank you!
I definitely am! Create it and add me please! I'm also in my mid-40s and would love to start a challenge 🙂
Thanks!!
Feel free to message me with any specifics....
Great!
I'm new to Fitbit and don't know how to create a weight and step challenge.
Any help, please?
Best Answer...actually I've just created a workweek hustle and invited you.. I'm hoping it works!
Not sure how we track our weight loss unless we just log it on here?
Best AnswerHello,
I am 35 and just got a fitbit yesterday. I don't know how many of my friends have it, but I would like to join a hustle challange or the weight lose challenge sounds cool. I think the whole motivate each other part could help push me. I could stand to lose a few (30) pounds myself haha.
What do I have to do to join your group? if you'll have me.
tk
Tomorrow the 12 week Challenge weight loss group is starting round Two. Everyone logs their weight into the challenge group each Tuesday.
I lost around 25 lbs in the first round. And I hope to lose another 20 lbs in the next 12 weeks.
I'll post links tomorrow. Feel free to join the challenge group and post your results! Good luck everyone and keep stepping.
hi 80schild
send me a friend request and i'll add you to the challenge. 😃
Best AnswerHi, are you going to have the Challenge easily accessible? I will log my weight tomorrow. I'm a little confused how this is going to work.
Best AnswerIf you want to join the 12 week challenge, you can visit the challenge group and join today. Come back tomorrow to enter your pledge. And then every Tuesday to post updates, cheer others on, and show us your progress.

Tomorrow will be our end first round of the 12 week challenge. You can see our posts from Week 1 to 11 now.
After the Week 12 post tomorrow, I'll create a new topic, Round 2 Pledges, and next Tuesday will be end of the first week 1. I'll create a topic Week 1 - Round 2 next Tuesday.
So tomorrow I'll pledge to lose 20 lbs in the next 12 weeks. Just check your weight on Tuesday and come back each Tuesday to the challenge group, and find the post for that week, and update the group.
Just take at look at the posts from the past weeks in Round 1 and you'll get the the idea...
Best AnswerHi, that guy John appears to have jumped into this challenge? I'm very confused...are you hosting this challenge or is John?
Thanks,
Shellie
Best AnswerSorry for the confusion. I'm just posting links that a different challenge is starting tomorrow if anyone wants to join. I'm going to post a message about it tomorrow in the get fit group. But since there was interest in a 30 day group, I thought I throught out that a new 12 week cycle is starting tomrrow too.
Join one or both, either way, is great if you want to lose weight and get support from others doing it too!
Best AnswerPlease let me know how I can join this challenge. I am a very busy bee and need help/encouragement on how to drop some weight. I've can't understand where I maybe going wrong since I eat right (lots of veggies and fruit), tons of exercise but maybe too little sleep (6 1/2hrs or less) and the weight still keeps piling on.
@milkmaid1510, I congratulate you for being so new to fitbit and taking the initiative to start this challenge. I'm 62, and I lost 30 lbs since January. At 40, loosing weight should be easy if you are motivated. The secret is to enter your goals into the fitbit app, log your food daily, reduce your portion size, eat healthy (the more greens, the better, and stay away from starchy foods), and keep moving.
You may want to visit the "Easter to Memorial Day" challenge and see how we do things there. It's a great group, and you may get some good ideas.
Best wishes to you all!
