After losing 30 pounds

When i started my diet in january, i have been workong out everyday. I still work out everyday for about 100 minutes to 200 minutes a day. My question is now that i weight 129, should I still be working out everyday? The past few saturdays i have been not working out, so should i just stay only working out 6 days a week?

My body is used to the 2,500 calorie burn - so I just keep doing it !  Afraid to gain back - I can go down in steps here and there - but I am stepping for the rest of my life - until I can't !

Its good that you have gone to work out every day! Good for you!! I have always been told though that you need one day of rest where you don't do any workouts. Mine falls on Sundays......believe me, I am literally climbing the walls on those days because I love going to the gym. So, cutting back a day won't make too much of a difference. Keep doing it if you want to.......if you feel yourself slipping backwards after a while, then by all means start back up with the working out on Saturdays.

Main thing here is to listen to your body!! 🙂

First of all, congratulations on your weight loss! It sounds like you've reached your goal weight. Now it is time to set new goals. I tried googling your question - How often should I work out? The answers all had a consistent theme - it depends ... on your goals ... on your weight ... etc. Have you considered joining a gym? Many offer personal trainers who will help you define your goals then set up the blue print to achieve them. I joined Planet Fitness. It was only $10/month and they offer free sessions with a personal trainer. I find it helpful. If you cannot consult with a personal trainer, then get to the library and do some research. Set your goals. Body building? Maintain your current weight? Strength training? Then set up a plan to reach those goals.

Keep up the good work!
