Any tips for a 20+ yr old female on losing weight?

I am currently trying to lose weight. Im working on eating healthier and working out a lot. I was able to lose about 20 lbs over the summer but then coming back to school, I got into a bad funk.. I'm back to working hard and staying determined, although I need some good workout tips or foods to eat that'll help me! 🙂

Don't obsess over the scales. Measure your body, don't give up if you plateau. There are SO many diets. I am finding out my problem was portion control. This is where I am starting to learn alot about. I really ate way too much. If you put out more than you take in you will lose weight. But do not quit eating fuel that fire to burn the fat! I probably didn't answer your question totally but I hope some of this helps you. There are people here for you which is always nice. Depending on your life style is what type of diet will work for you. Prepackaged or home cooked. You could Google lots of ideas.

Thanks so much! That does help me out! Portion controll is kind of my problem too and something I am trying to work on. It's also hard with going from being at home where my parents were doing the same thing as me, to coming to school surrounded by fast food places and fried food. So I just gotta get back on track. Thanks for your input though!

I'm new to FitBit and I am hoping that will give me more motivation as well!

My problem is portion control also.  I work out almost every day, but have a hard time losing because I love to eat.  Just try to make healthy lifestyle changes.  Don't think of it as dieting because there is no quick fix.  You sound like you're on the right track.  Start keeping a food diary.  That will let you know exactly what you're eating and how many calories you're taking in.
