Hi, I've been using my Fitbit Blaze religiously and purchased the Aria scale over a year ago...was tracking very positively with weight drop from about 153 to 143 (145 was my goal), got BF down from low 20% to 17.4%. Went away for about 4-5 days, came back home, put on about 1.4 lbs but my BF increased to 30.2%! The only change in routine was lack of exercise (other than daily walking), eating seafood and drinking alcohol! Is this remotely possible? I read other forums dealing with BF increase with weight loss, but I find going from 17.4 to 30.2 somewhat of a shocker. Appreciate your thoughts...

Try changing the batteries. Also, clean the surface of the scale.

Thx for the suggestion. Tried it and still the same. Family member's BF are unchanged, so that further confirms my spike in BF is isolated and has me dumbfounded.

Try re-calibrating it by stepping on 5 times in a row.
