BMI tracker issues on App

ANSWERED

For the past three weeks or so I've had an issue with being unable to accurately track my BMI on my app.  Lately it does not let me use the "," or "." to define my BMI.  For example if I have a BMI of 20.3 I can type in 20 but not add the additional info. I recently upgraded to iOs 13 but believe I had this issue prior to getting a new phone.  Just wonder if anyone else noticed/experienced this issue and had a fix.

@AndyW10 — the inability to enter the decimal point when logging your body fat percentage is a known issue with the current iOS app.  Fitbit is aware of it and working on the problem.  You can read more about it in this thread on the iOS forum.

In the meantime, you can log your weight and enter a decimal point for your BF% on the web version of the Fitbit app.

BMI should be calculated for you, based on your height (which you can and should enter in your personal data) and your weight (which you can either manually enter, or - if you have a supported smartscale - have automatically synced to your account).

Hopefully you’re not confusing BMI (body mass index) with BF% (body fat as a percentage of your total body weight).
