Big Calorie Deficit and Stall

I know this has been discussed but I just need a little reassurance.   I have been running a 900-1000 calorie deficit per day for about 2 weeks.   Yesterday I had 1200   No weight loss!   I had 11,000 steps yesterday and an 18 mile bike ride.   Can it really be that I need to eat more?  My BMR is estimated to be 1400.   Yesterday I took in about 1100 and burned almost 2400 according to my fitbit.

Hi @Deckie

That sounds like far too much of a deficit, especially considering the amount of exercise you're getting and your BMR. I would try cutting that deficit in half, seeing the effect on your weight, and then subtracting calories 100 at a time from there. Make sure and give yourself some time between calorie changes so you can see the effect clearly.

Remember, weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint. Best of luck.
