Burning too many Calories

I have just undergone 4-5 months of shredding. I had a calorie intake of 1900 per day and burned around 3000 a day. I finally got abs and very happy about it.

I’m now looking into bulking up. I can get my calorie intake up to around 3300 a day but lately I’m burning way too many calories! Obviously I wanna build muscle with weight workouts, then I play soccer twice a week and I like to go on a nice evening walk. Sometimes I’m burning around 3500 a day. I can’t be eating 4000 calories a day just to have a calorie surplus of 500? Conversely, I don’t want to limit my cardio. Any thoughts?

@SunsetRunner   I don't know anything about muscle building, I confess but I wonder if you could forget about calories for a bit and eat when hungry.

If your calculations are accurate, it's time to add supplements - Optimum Nutrition has some great options.

I currently use their Gold Standard whey vanilla protein powder if I don't eat enough meat (I'm currently still at the losing fat stage and sitting at about 17% body fat).
