In what time frame do you wish to lose 15 pounds?
It would be best to wear your Fitbit 24/7 (minus the time needed to recharge it, to shower etc.). Your workouts only account for a small portion of your total daily expenditure. If you don’t wear it, Fitbit has no way to know how you’re spending your time during the day, for instance whether you’re sitting in front of a computer, or walking, taking the elevator or climbing up the stairs etc.

See this post for the calculation related to losing 16.9 pounds in six weeks. The amount is quite similar to your 15 pounds in 1-2 months. It’s just that losing that much in such a short period of time requires a huge daily deficit.
