I got a Charge HR for my birthday (previously had the One). I am supposed to be controlling my weight during pregnancy because I am already obese. I was doing okish with the One. I've not tried yet with the Charge HR (it's only been a couple of days and I've had a lot of birthday related treats :P) but I've been looking at the calories burned and I am really skeptical.
It has given me 431 calories for a 53 min walk (110 av bmp). 121 cals for an 18 min walk (107 av bpm). 263 cals for a 45 min walk (104 bpm) etc.
Obviously my heart rate is higher than "usual" because of the pregnancy so I am probably getting calories for that (but it seems still pretty optimistic).
Is this normal looking? Should I just assume I can't trust the calories when pregnant? I definately feel less "fit" than before I was pregnant and get out of breath more easily, but that doesn't necessarily mean I am burning more calories right?

just like calories in - calories out are based on estimations. Because you have the HR function your estimations are a bit closer to "accurate". You are cooking a small human- so you are already burning more calories than say me. You described yourself as obese so that too will result in higher calorie burn. Factor in an elevated heart rate and I would say that your numbers are pretty close to being right. Congratulations on your little miracle...
