I have decided since it is 90 days til Christmas the best gift I can give myself is better health. In the past 9 months I have slowly lost 40lbs give or take usually stays a between 35-40lbs. I would like to lose another 20lbs + by Christmas. This would put me at almost the halfway point for my weight loss. I was doing paleo for a while but found myself bingeing on cheat meals and eating way to many things that I shouldn't. So now I have decided no foods are off limit I will log every bite of everything and if I choose to eat more than allotted for my activity I will have to be more active to stay within my calorie deficit for the day and see how everything goes from there. Feel free to join me on this journey. Also add me as a friend so we can challange each other.

Okay, I'm going to check in every Monday. As of 10/17, I have lost 0.4 lb.
I'v been kinda cycling around the same weight for a couple of weeks, so I'm going to do a little push on exercise (Tony, I've been neglecting you on FitStar, but I'll be back tonight!) to try to break through. How's everyone else doing?

I'm not gonna lie, I was tempted to use yesterday's weight, which would have made my loss more like 1.2lb, but... that would be wrong! heheh Congrats, Gayle, on a great start to this challenge!

Okay, I'm going to check in every Monday. As of 10/24, I have lost 3.6 lb.
Yay, me! (However, I can't claim all the credit--"something I ate" disagreed with me Friday night and think I took in about 500 calories total all weekend.) How's everyone else doing?
P.S. Gayle ROCKED our weekend challenge, blowing the rest of us out of the water with over 27K steps in a single day. Go Gayle!!

I have been slacking off too, just a lot of stress and crazy work deadlines. Just down .5 of a pound, but getting motivated for a more concentrated effort starting tomorrow when this project is complete!

Ok, I am late to the challenge but I would like to join in. I am in the process of a lifestyle change. I have lost a tad over 30 lbs since the end of April. The more I lose the harder it is to lose it. My husband and I are doing this together. He was diagnosed as a diabetic, so after being put on medicine, decided to get more serious about losing weight and exercise to get it more under control. Which I am happy to say he is doing wonderfully. He has also lost 30 lbs and has his A1C back to with in normal range again. So we are super excited with that. However we are both a long ways from our goal weight. I still need to lose 53.4 pounds to meet my goal. He has a tad more than me. We are walking and eating better, but we have to start more exercise. I am up for suggestions. lol. We are raising a 7 year old grandson. He occupies alot of our time. But he too could stand to lose some weight. Anyhow I will set my goal for 10.9 pounds. That would get me to my halfway point. I would be beyond excited!
Starting Weight 04/25/16 - 210.0
Current Weight 10/25/16 - 178.4 I weighed yesterday so I will use it..lol (I try to weigh every Tuesday)
Goal Weight by Christmas - 167.5
Ultimate Goal Weight - 125.0 but would probably be super happy with 130...l
I am excited about this challenge and making new friends!

Goal Weight by Christmas - 155
Ultimate Goal Weight - 145
This goal might be a bit far fetched since I am going to a wedding in Nashville next weekend and plan to eat and drink. I will do my best though to stay on point and keep moving. Rome wasn't built in a day.

I like to improve my eating, not totally ruling out foods, but making better healthier choices. i am trying to make this a lifestyle change. Just had some serious health issue, so makes it a little easier to pay more attention to what I eat, and to increase my steps.

I do that. I see my cals as a finance thing. I will say though that your lightest meal of the day should be your evening meal. "Eat breakfast like a king, Lunch like a queen and evening meal like a poor person"
