In the last 8 months, I’ve lost 45 pounds logging my food in the Fitbit (premium app). Yay me! But since it no longer dynamically advises me how many calories I can eat each day, I’m wondering if there is another device (or app that works with the Fitbit) to track calories expended, allows you to log/track food, and supports a daily target calorie deficit.
I hate hate hate this "update" -- dynamic calorie expenditures should absolutely be a part of the app and taking it away is a negative and decreases value.
Just got an email today with lots of small print of what is being done. Much of it seems like removing value.
Best AnswerHi, @ramshacklepantr, may I suggest you wait until the new Google Health app is launched on the 19th? This is a major rebuild.
Cheers

Best AnswerIf I read the recent email about the change correctly (and the included quasi-nested away small print), this is also going away, along with a bunch of other things. Most, I don't really care. This one I do. A lot.
I had this specific functionality disappear for a while and then it came back, but reading the email, it sounds like it is going away again.
