Hello and welcome to the 2nd challenge of 2020!

We are celebrating our scaled and non-scaled victories and progress. Following are some acronyms typically used by those who post. Some of us also track body fat or measurements, etc. please add those as you wish.

 

USW - Ultimate start weight

SW - starting weight for this challenge

CW - current weight 

PW - previous week's weight/weigh-in

LW - last weight/weigh-in

GW - goal weight for the challenge

MGW - mini goal weight

UGW- ultimate goal weight

Yup I too know how weak on follow through I can be about not eating after 8 pm. I can leave the chips and junk food alone but can munch out on too many healthy nuts or hummus!  Also,I  stay up too late then can't fall off to sleep. Hard to get up when alarm goes off 6 hrs later when I need 8.  But I lost the weight before then gained it back over time.  

So let's all try again. One moment at a time.

Hubby had an unexpected hospital stay last week and because of that my schedule got thrown off. Realized I forgot to take my blood pressure/water weight meds for three days. Looking for pounds to come down again at my next weigh in.

I'm finally out of the obese weight range! I'm happily over weight now. When I hit this challenges goal I will be over half way to my ultimate goal and usually I have given up on my weight loss before I hit that mark. I really think these challenges are helping me stay motivated and accountable.

@Jpgrl84  - Thanks, Hubby is doing much better though the super antibiotics they have him on are kicking his butt. I'm getting back into somewhat of a routine this week so far but this weekend (starting on Friday) we are going to the annual comic convention held downtown. We are a family of nerds and geeks so it is an annual thing for us. Needless to say, much walking and standing but also much not so healthy eating will be taking place. This convention is usually held in April but it's early this year due to election conventions and debates. To be honest, I'm kind of really looking forward to March and hoping it will be a little less hectic and a little more manageable.

Almost 30 thousand steps in two days at the convention, remembered to take my meds and I'm the lowest weight I've been since June of 2015! Whoo Hoo! 

Family had a great time at the comic con. Hubby said it was great to do something normal after all he's been through. He hasn't walked this much in five years!

Wonderful that you got back to June 2015 level.  Looks like u r  about to bust through the 200 level this week. Stay strong.  Lots of steps in 2 days. It takes me 4 to 5 days to make 30K steps usually.

Welcome to the challenge.  I'm struggling to get myself to not munching out late at night. Made 8300 step so far today.  I am close to my goal weight but my belly is hanging on to the last 9 lbs.

Bounced back up a bit but not too bad. Working on being a bit more active but the weather is not helpful. Colder, windy and rainy. Yuck.

Hi @Cele21 and Friends!

It's been a long time since I've been here. I was overseas for a long time last year, and at first, my fit-bit stopped charging, then I completely lost it. In the process, I have gradually become less active physically and more indulgent with food. The result: I gained back about 20+ lbs. 

 

I just purchased a new fit-bit a couple of days ago, and I need to get back in shape. I know that this is in the middle of the challenge period, but I hope to connect with some of you and get the encouragement that I need. 

 

Right now, my weight is 175.2, and I plan on loosing 2 lbs a week for as long as my body would cooperate with me. 

 

Today I started walking and logging my food again - something that has helped me in the past. So, wish me well, please! (smiling)
