New and ready

Hi all,

 

Since I was 16 (I am now 22), my weight has yo-yoed. My minimum was 165lbs when I was 18, which rose to 180lbs when I went to university. The highest I have been is 217lbs when I was 20, and I am now around 200lbs despite being 185lbs in the summer. 

 

I have bought a fitbit after a few recommendations from friends and I am hoping that this will motivate me to finally get down to an initial target weight of 180lbs, but hopefully a bit lower after that! 

 

Any tips from anybody? I work an office job but have a bit of opportunity to walk each day to the train station/office etc... I also play football a few times a week. 

 

Any fitness buddies would be appreciated!

Hi!  I'm new to the Fitbit community too so OF COURSE we can be buddies.  I have several (and by that I mean at least FIFTY) pounds to lose.  So far I've found some great information to sift through.  I wish you the best and will see you around!
