Hey I feel the same way once i got out of the army I gained alot of weight due to no motivation or help. I need to lose about 35 to 40 lbs and would love to have someone who feels the same and has the same goal as I do on this path

I'm looking for friends too, have had the FitBit a couple of weeks now and am loving it! I'm 26 and looking to lose around 25lbs... could really do with the friends for added motivation.

Hey! I'll be friends with you. I just started Fitbit today and it's still trying to figure out my resting HR and things like that. I'm 34 and looking to lose 40lbs, so we're at roughly the same metric. 😃
I'm aiming for a 1000 cal deficit / day but I usually end up around 700 instead, based on a ~2800-3000cal burn. Right now I'm doing ~1hr of elliptical a day with occasional skip days to let my muscles rest, and no weights or calisthenics. I'll add them eventually, but for now I'm taking it easy.
