Hey all,
I'm really struggling with the calories in and out function on the dash... the figures keep changing and the amount of calories I'm Supposed to consume seems like a lot (even for a chubster)!
Im sure there is a perfectly acceptable reason for this, but ideally I don't want to/can't eat that much!
Any my advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to the community, @WillowTree!
I would suggest having a look at Fitbit’s Food Plan Demystified. It may well address your questions. If not, feel free to ask more!

The suggested eating level may seem high until you accurately record ALL your eating and find you consume far more calories than you had originally thought. At least, that was my experience.

@WillowTree Welcome to the community and kudos for jumping into fitness. I would suggest you take what @Dominique offered as the start to your solution. That link will take you to a really great breakdown of how it works and what you should be looking at for your daily goals. Then come back and let's talk about it!
