I'm going to buy myself this jacket (hopfully in a size medium!) when I lose 15% of my body weight -- only 18.5 lbs to go!

Interesting that clothes are the rewards being discussed.
My non-food reward will be clothes related; specifically not being afraid to take off my (currently XXL) shirts when at a beach or pool. That will be so sweet!
Best AnswerI have several.
When I consistently achieve my step goal for a month-new songs for my Itunes
When I hit 10 pounds lost-new movie for me to watch while on the treadmill
When I hit my first goal of 150 pounds-new clothes
When I hit my ultimate goal of 135 pounds-Makeover!!
I love this! I always sabatoge my weightloss by picking food related rewards but not this time!
I think my reward for hitting my goal weight would be a really awesome pair of jeans.
My reward for keeping the weight off and building up some muscle is going to be a swimsuit. It's been 6 years since I've purchased one and just about as long since I've been in a pool or lake.
Best AnswerThis is a really interesting topic @katen, it's good to think of what other rewards there are. I have rewarded myself in the past by tucking in to a bit too much Chinese takeaway & enjoying a rather massive peanut butter milkshake at one of my favourite restaurants lol, and although I have lost enough weight to warrant a new wardrobe I'm not a fan of shopping really so when I do by myself something new it is probably something for a specific event, like in a few weeks I'm going holiday clothes shopping! ![]()
I have a favourite brand of trainers (Superga) so once I reach my goal weight perhaps a new pair of those would make a good reward! Or maybe a new pair of running trainers, when I first got my current pair it was actually a great motivator to get me moving so a new pair might encourage me to keep up the exercise & lifestyle changes I've made. ![]()
