Not loosing weight

I never even come close to the calories that fitbit says I'm allowed and I never loose. I am usually allowed 2000+ and rarely eat over 1600. I have been using fit bit now mainly just to track my workouts, but frustrated that I never can loose. Any suggestions?? It's hard for me to stay at 1200-1400 calories since I workout so hard.

Muscle weighs more than fat. Depending on what workouts you are doing you may be replacing fat with muscle and not noticing any significant weight loss. Are you measurements changing?

5lbs of fat is the same as 5 lbs of muscle, is it not? LOL. My clothes fit the same. I don't measure.

You are absolutely correct Deeds, 5lbs weighs 5lbs. Apparently many people find it easier to use the incorrect phrase 'weighs more" instead of the more correct phrase "is denser". If your clothes fit isn't changing then conversion from fat to muscle is not all that likely. Based on the fact that you have only made 2 posts, I am guessing that you haven't been at this for an extensive amount of time, so I will suggest that you give it a while longer, make sure you are logging your calories correctly (get a scale and weigh things), and maybe spend some time going back in the forums and see if the info there might help -

Your original post doesn't give a lot of detail about what you are hoping to use this tool to help you achieve but the oddas are very good that you can do it if you keep at it and are honest with yourself about what you are doing.

Good luck

Craig
