I did not get breakfast eaten this week, so that is still a goal of mine. I get so hungry later in the day and then fight craving. I want to get my body switched around but morning is a busy time for me and I just do not stop. Also cheated off this week my exercise routine and took off 5 minutes so I want to work on getting this done this week. But so happy with the downward trend. I have already met my goal weight for the two months. No way did I think that would happen, loss is so slow for me.

Update for me:
Unfortunately my old Fitbit died, so I'm on my own to make sure I get my steps in. 😞
I'm doing well with my weight loss and don't want to slow down now!

@KatBaby Sorry to hear about your fitbit - I keep waiting for mine to go. I have an original Flex that will be turning six in February but unexpectedly this past weekend one of my daughters friends has a barely used new one (a Versa I think) that she was looking to re-home - for free! Needless to say, I will be getting a back-up soon.
But like you said, it doesn't take something strapped to your arm to make you move more - that's all you. You did the work and you can keep doing it. You got this!

Had a little set back this week with all the goodies coming into the house. I still been tracking every bad thing going into my mouth!

Well, I am still sick. Been a good ten days now without being able to do much. I had an appointment to see a dermatologist today and it's in the hospital so I just popped down to the ER afterward to get a chest xray and blood work done. No pneumonia (phew) but they gave me new puffers and a steroid to help things along. I still get so weak and tired and shaky if I do anything like housework or go out to a store. I haven't been to the pool, which isn't good, but if I can't breathe, I can't do aerobics.
Hoping the meds fix me up so I can go back in the next few days. Otherwise, I'm just hanging in there.
I hope everyone is doing great.

The holidays are already starting to show up on the scale but it's ok. I have already made my goal weight, now I just have to maintain until 2020 through the holidays, and I will be happy.

All right, everyone. It is December 2, which means it is officially six months since I weighed myself on June 2 and got a measure of where I was at (which was 290.9). So in a perfect world I would now weigh 230 (down 60 in 6 months, 100 overall) and there would be high praise and excitement all around. HOWEVER, reality is this:
USW - 330 (290.9 as of June 2, 2019)
SW - 243.6
CW - 239.5
GW - 230
MGW - 220
UGW- 190
I still hope to make 230 by the end of the year which would be so fantastic - 100 pound weight loss to celebrate as 2020 rolls in. But I was 237 about ten days ago and I'm 239.5 now so we will see what happens.
I hope you are all doing well!

Hi Everyone!
I'm not posting my stats this week because I ballooned up like a Macy's parade float! Forgot to take my meds for a couple days so have water retention, lots of food, too much soda and very little movement. I quit my gym membership because I haven't been using it but am going to start using my son's new fitness video game, Ring Fit for the Nintendo Switch. It has good ratings from fitness experts and is pretty fun. Full range of motion, jogging, pushing/pulling on a tension ring, lunges, squats, side twists and overhead stretches. All while fighting bad guys!
@_Lilac_ - hope you are feeling better!
@Zootenany - you are crushing it! Congrats!

This is the 1st weight I have done at home. I know the lbs difference is off because I haven't eaten or been fully dressed like normal.

Good morning all. I wasn't sure how I would do over Thanksgiving, but I did pretty well. It was HARD though. I cooked for my family, but didn't have any potatoes, stuffing or dessert. I did have a dinner roll (yum!) and a couple of extra pieces of fruit when everyone else had pie. Whew!

hi all,
Hope that the sick folks get well again. I added a few lbs. at Thanksgiving but back to 150.6. I can't find my starting post but I think that I might have started at 148 or so and I'm up from there. I need to be better at fewer late night snacks.
Stay strong and recover,
Barbara G

Back down from Thanksgiving plus a smidge more. I will do my best to check in occasionally but hubby is having surgery on 12/20 and will be in the hospital for three to five days. Still trying to resolve an issue resulting from his colon cancer treatment almost five years ago. The issue we knew was happening but all the experts said was 'nothing to worry about'. Now he will have an ileostomy for six to twelve months while letting the 'nothing' try to heal. If it doesn't heal, he will be on a bag for life - not what he wants at all. We wanted to squeeze it in this year for out of pocket insurance purposes but the doctor went to Thailand at the beginning of the month so surgery a day before my birthday - yay!
@dancefoxtrot - good to see you again!
@_Lilac_ - how are you feeling?

Sorry I've been quiet. That cold/chest cold really got me good. I didn't have pneumonia, but I felt like I did. I am still not 100%, have weakness and get worn out so quickly. I went back to the pool for water aerobics but every time I go I hurt my sciatic nerve. It's only a theory, but I have a really big belly, and because it's high fat, it floats more. When I get into the pool, my belly lifts and the exercises with any kind of twist or even skiing in the water cause a problem for my sciatic nerve. On land, I'm okay. Weird huh??
My sister is moving in with me so my focus has been on preparing the house. That includes cleaning out one room of storage to then convert it into my art room/studio, and then converting my current art room/studio into my sister's bedroom. They are two floors apart, so it's a lot of work. I'm glad I have help from my daughter and the sister.
We are also preparing for the holidays and moving around boxes and storage bins etc. I'm really quite worn out from all of it.
I'm up and down on meeting my step goals. Some days I'll have a lot of steps and other days I barely get any, especially when I'm not feeling well. I had 6 seizures in 6 hours the other day and it just flattened me.
Ok, enough blabbing. I'll check in more often.

This is very frustrating I get my blood tested about every 3 months and now it's showing I have low protein levels. I've been eating healthier and trying to eat lots of protein in the last couple of months so I don't understand why it would be low. I think I'm going to try a protein shake a couple times a week and will be retested in January so see if

Not losing but not gaining either. Hubby goes in for surgery this Friday so we will see how the week goes. I need to be aware of stress eating and don't always catch myself until after.
