Think I'm in the minority on here, but you asked, and here's my put....
measuring foods, counting calories and other macros doesn't work (I'll say for everyone to have a caveat!).
It is not just about how much you eat, but all about what you eat and when you eat it.
Simply put (and no, you don't have to be plant-based -- though it's easier! ), ditch processed foods. Ditch pre-packaged or pre-made diet meals. Eat good, nutrient rich, earth-grown foods. Eat until you are satisfied, not until you're full. Eat based on either what you just did, or on what you are going to do. Don't count calories, make calories count.
Might sound hard, daunting...impossible. But it just takes retraining how we were raised to eat, and looking at how those ready to dispense lifestyle advice around us actually look.
Fitbit is a GREAT tool for tracking our movement (or lack there of) on a daily basis. But knocking out 10000, or 20000 steps a day and still eating the same way and the same stuff we were always eating can be 2 steps forward, 2 step back.
A diet is just that, a diet. Might work temporarily, but will ultimately be unstainable leading to bingeing, or yo-yo weight ups and downs. Learning how/what to eat, getting in sync with your body -- you can go anywhere, order in a restaruant without sabotaging yourself and without worrying about it. Becomes just as natural as going into your favorite restaurant and ordering without looking at the menu. #Peace
So, to help, need a bit more info on first your goals, second, what you've been doing exercise-wise, and typical day's meals.
THEN together we can get somewhere!!! 🙂

Don't create a fight with your body you'll lose, and use the tool correctly.
Good for logging food, now make sure your deficit to what you burn is reasonable.
You may want to lose it faster, but look at how long it took. Likely you had a mere average surplus of 366 calories daily.
So lose it slowly too so it's only fat. Take the smallest deficit, 250 cal, and meet your daily goal with accuracy.
Then to use the tool correctly, manually log any exercise not step based so you really only have a 250 cal deficit from what you burn.
Fitbit underestimates in general, don't manually log non-step based exercise, and it really will be.
Take your time to lose and don't get stressed out.
