Hi, I'm new to FitBit, just now purchased the FitBit Scale. I am also a Power Walker. So, I was wondering how many steps a day it takes to lose at least 10 lbs in 7 days? I weight 184 lbs.. I also Jog in Place indoors most of the day..

I guess it depends to a large extent on how much and what you eat. As many people have written before, you can't out-exercise a bad diet. 10 pounds in a week does sound a lot. Why are you in such a hurry?

Most health professionals reccommend a maximum weight loss of 2 lbs. per week so losing 10 lbs doesn't seem healthy. Make sure you are thinking about what healthy for your body and you might try for a more reasonable goal.
