I would love to be a part of this group. I've been working on weight and increasing activity since January - which is the longest I've stayed on any program in about 30 years. I've been a chair sitter for most of my adult life. The FitBit gives me the information I need to keep working on my activity level. I've lost 12 lbs since the first of January and want to lose at least 20 more. Looking forward to working with others toward this goal.
Best AnswerIf you would like to send me an email address I'd be glad to send you the daily posts! It's easier to be more active through a Facebook Group, but I would like to include anyone who is interested. I always seem to have more personal success in a group setting. When I know people are counting on me I tend to keep myself accountable better!
Best AnswerI'm so excited! I upgraded from the Fitbit Zip to the Fitbit Charge yesterday! I had given myself a goal of 5,000 steps in a day before I could do that - and I did it! I started in January with about 400 steps a day - so this is a HUGE accomplishment. The feedback from the fitbit is just what I've needed to keep me motivated!

Best AnswerI'm in! I've been steadily increasing my activity since January, with very little weight change. Lots of other good results, especially a dramatic decrease in resting heart rate. SO, I went almost zero carbs (20 or less per day) starting Tuesday, and all my metabolism work is now paying off Big Time. i have lost 8 lbs. since then, with all the muscle I've built. I can almost start to see the contours! Looking to go from 175-135. this is not my first experiment with zero carb, I was successful before with it, but gave up for lack of options. Now I am a lot more creative and have a better kitchen now.
