Hi there, I am working on 60lbs here. I got my fitbit for christmas and love that i can see how active (or not) i am each day. I am looking for people to help keep me motivated and who i can help along the way as well. Good luck!
Hi Everyone!
I got a fitbit for Christmas and absolutely loving it - on more than one occasion, I've found myself walking around my house before bedtime to get the steps up. It's really proven to me how sedentary my lifestyle is! I've been using my fitness pal alongside my fitbit and tracking all food, even the bad stuff. Bit of a shock but I'm so determined to lose 70 lbs. I'd love to have some friendly support from people in the same situation so please feel free to add me. I'm a female in my (very) late 20's! Thank you 🙂 x
Add me too guys.
I received a fitbit for Christmas but have been on a weight loss journey for years. My heaviest was 308 and I'm now at 234. I'm always very active but I slip up on my diet too often. So I'm going to be better at tracking my foods like I used to. I know exactly the things I need to do but I just get lazy. The fitbit is awesome for making me accountable. The goal is to get down to 190.
Doug,
I'm there with you. I'm trying to get under 200lbs myself. I definitely slip up on food, which makes the process even more difficult. I also realize I can't "out exercise" bad eating habits. I feel this is really the point where I need to make solid changes and healthier choices, otherwise I'll be sliding backwards and stuck where I am...or worse.
I'm totally new to the Fitbit community having just bought my Fitbit Charge this week. I am a mom to 4 and need to lose 75-85 lbs. Would love to have friends to motivate me, as well. Not sure how to do any of this, though! Help!
Hello all I to would like to join this group. I have been on a weight loss journey for many years. I got my Fit Bit back in 2012 and have used it off and on. I just restarted my journey and would like to loose at least 55 pounds and could use some encouragement.
Hi there,
I've had my fitbit for just over a week and so far loving it. I'm thinking for that little extra motivation I need some friends!! My long term goal is between 80-100lbs. Seems so far off but I know that I can do this! Small steps! My two sons and I have signed up for a 5km mud run in July, so scared because I don't run! Anyone else doing a run?
Best AnswerWOW - you should be so proud of your accomplishments and lifestyle changes! I had similar success years ago - I have to do it again - you have inspired me - thank you!!!
so very nice of you to share all of your secrets....... you should be very proud of your accomplishments... I know how hard this is...... thank you for all the tips.
Best AnswerThis is awesome advice--just get out and move! If you have small children, grandchildren or nieces/nephews (my case), take them to the park. They love to play tag or be chased. Challenge your teenagers to some basketball. Do any active thing you like as much as you like.
Thanks for sharing some great tips and information.
