Sweating for the Wedding! Woot!

Hey, guys!
I am getting married in 6 months (super excited yet ridiculously nervous), and I'm trying to shed a few pounds and get toned for my big day.
Do you guys have any tips for exercises/diet? I usually do 20-30 min of cardio 6 days a week and do some mild weight lifting and ab work as well. I've been trying to eat as healthy as I can without giving up on carbs (please, I need my carbies), and I think I'm on the right track.
Any ladies who have done pre-wedding workouts out there? What are some examples of a weekly exercise routine you did and how did it work for you?

Thanks for reading this and I look forward to your tips and advice!
Woo hoo!

Set your goals in FitBit to be challenges for the day.  10K-25k steps.  10-50 flights of stairs.  7-12 miles.  Numbers vary do to a lot of factors.  Then KEEP those goals or exceed them each day.  If you miss a day then that is not a problem, just make up for it the next and be sure you keep the target for the week.  As has been noted the food is the #1 issue for most of us.  If it is not good for your diet then get it out of the house.  Get it out of your world.  If it is in the fridge it will be on your waist.

Congratulations @Camuhkazi! Getting married is a wonderful and unforgettable experience and it's great to hear that you are taking good care of yourself. Woman Very Happy My recommendation is to vary your daily activities, do not stick with only doing one or two of the same workouts. This will also keep you motivated through this next 6 months and after the wedding. Also, remember to drink lots of water and stick with a healthy diet.

Finally, enjoy your workouts, be positive and be happy!

Your exercise program seems reasonable, so you'll need to watch the calories.

A near vegetarian program of as natural as possible vegetables, tubers and grains

(no more meat that the size of the palm of your hand per day), will get you there.

I was amazed with how quickly I was able to drop a bit of weight by lowering my carb intake. Right on the money there, @daffyduck.

Hey there - I have just over 5 months till my wedding and sweating it out as well!
I have found the best thing to do is mix it up - never stick to the same routine day in day out and just keep moving each day, even if it is a walk to the park!
I am on MFP as well , watching the calories and drinking heaps of water!!!
